Mr.Daman Anand was born and brought up in Dehra Dun.He ventured into flowers in 1992 with import of flower bulbs (Gladioli, Irises, Lilies and Tulips) from Hillegom, The Netherlands.He used to cultivate these flowers at Dehra Dun. Dehra Dun which is in Uttrakhand is a valley and has a moderate climate which is excellent for growing flowers. Daman sent these flowers to Delhi to the wholesalers for distribution. After few months, he realised that he is not being paid well for the (produce) cut flowers. He was just a puppet in hands of wholesalers and most of the profit is going into the pockets of wholesaler. Daman decided to setup his own retail shop in Delhi.

This dream finally took shape in 1997 when he set up a flower store "Floricall" in West Punjabi Bagh. Later this company was acquired by a big group. 

In 2006 he left flowers retail and joined a Los Angeles, California based technology company as Floral Operations Manager. It was here that he acquired new skills. Daman was fully involved in development of web based "flower shop management system" for US florists.

In 2009 he left the job and started his online flowers delivery service http://www.flowersdeliveryflorist.com 

Daman Anand is married with two school going children.
